Hi Joanna
Just signing in to acknowledge your site and to say that I look forward to working with all Pumas, and future ERA Determiners.
So it is written so it is done! Let’s get it done!

In education, in marriage, in religion, in everything, disappointment is
the lot of woman. It shall be the business of my life to deepen this
disappointment in every woman’s heart until she bows down to it no
longer.
~Lucy Stone (1818-1893)
We shall bow down to it no longer!
Thank you TerryDo.
Hi Joanna,
Checking in also… I found us… Look forward to working very hard on this team and getting ERA ratified…

I just noticed the time stamp on our messages is wrong… it’s about 4 hours ahead…
I think the time stamp is with the Greenwich Mean Time. Should I turn it off?
I actually can’t change the timestamp. I can change the template to one that doesn’t have a time stamp.
Hi Joanna
I had to open a yahoo account to get to this site and yet it is using my gmail address, not that it matters I was just curious about the need to open a yahoo account.
Although I must say it will come in handy when we do our prowls.
I was wondering if you wanted to post the websites that I found on this blog, I will include them here in this message and you can decide.

Ciao for now, Terry
Hmmm… we need something to refer back to if we are posting a response… Can it be numbered instead??
If not then we better keep the time stamp…
I figure we will be at the pumapac forum someday. but I can change the template if there any of them that you have seen that you like. They have to be a wordpress blog. But of course, any of them that have the time stamp will be set to Greenwich
Cool… the pumapac site is on wordpress, it is set up to number each comment… that’s what I was thinking of….
let me work on it…
PUMApac is a paid site (they have an additional upgrade on it). This is the closest I can get.
We will hopefully be over there soon.
Looks good to me…
Nice job…!!
Great to see we are all here and thanks for all the work Joanna!
Way to go PUMAs, we are just starting out and have a lot of work but there are millions out there that have already started and we will join in to help them.
Happy New Year!
When you hear the dogs, keep going!
Don’t ever give up.
Haha, I got a blue title but have no site to follow…
Sorry, just getting my sign in corrected. :l
story of my life! haha
Thanks Terry! These lists are also posted on the opposition page.
Just catching up to speed here and seeing if this goes.
Happy New Year!
The time stamp seems to be way off. EST now at 7:55 PM
yes, i can’t get rid of it but maybe I can change it.
Did I get in?
Yeah!
I sent ADMIN. Lindsley Smith’s address, and other’s, too, for kind letters of support. Did anyone get it?
her info is posted under the “to do” list.
Just found it! Thanks!
Joanna and era4us the same?
I personally want to just be joannathemaid, I need to fix this. era4us is just the admin name. Once I change something (I can’t seem to get to that task yet) then I will always post as joanna.
Hi Everyone
I do not know about you but I am still reading and bringing myself up to par with the information pro and con regarding what has already transpired with ERA.
I especially want to be fluent in the organization that are using bogus excuses such as abortion and same sex marriage. What the heck are they talking about, in 1920 when Alice Paul first introduced the ERA, is was a simple demand and it is still a simple demand, there was no such thing as abortion at the time nor same sex marriage, so they are throwing these ridiculous concerns regarding the passing of the ERA.
So, may I suggest we spend the next week or so reading as much as we can from these sites and then give your intuition and suggestion on how best to approach this problem,to our team.

Thanks, Terry! Wonderful input!
It should take a tleast a week!
Thanks Terry. These are also listed in the “opposition page”
Also, through our studies, if anyone comes across anything that should be on this blog please send it to me so that I can post it. I figure this might be a way that we can educate others.
Hi Joanna
I am starting to get a good feel for our era4us site. The only thing that is missing on the top listing is BLOG.
Sort of like an instant blog like me have when we enter Pumapac.
I would rather leave a message her so that everyone can read instead of emails..
So I will send everyone my last email telling them that I will start blogging here and hopefully we will all use this site for leaving messages and starting prowls.
Sorry Joanna if I seemed a bit confused, it is probably from all the running around that I have done from the holidays…
actually TerryDo, this is like Puma pac. If I told everyone to take it upstairs we would be blogging on the article. I will create another entry for us to blog under. Give me a few minutes to find something to post.
Interesting article about the three-state theory
The Return of the Equal Rights Amendment
April 16, 2007 Monday
HEADLINE: The Revival of The Equal Rights Amendment
For decades, the dream of cryonics has been to freeze clinically dead people for long periods so that they can be brought back to life in the future when a cure for their fatal ailment has been found. This month, the first successful cryonic experiment occurred in Congress with the sudden resuscitation of the long-dead Equal Rights Amendment, now called the Women’s Equality Amendment.
Twenty-five years ago, the ERA died from lack of support among the states after an extended 10-year ratification effort. Unable to secure the constitutionally mandated 38 states, it was pronounced politically and constitutionally dead. Supporters in Congress, however, now claim that it never really died and that they have discovered a cure for its political ailment: Rather than securing the 38 states necessary for ratification, they argue that they can put the ERA into the Constitution by securing just three states.
Back in the 1970s, I supported the ERA. However, I now have doubts whether such an amendment is truly needed given the legal, social and political changes that have occurred in the past two decades. For my daughter, Madie, and her friends, I remain concerned about gender discrimination. However, I am much more concerned about the implications of abandoning our constitutional traditions and creating shortcuts to amend our Constitution.

FYI, there is facebook site ERA NOW which has info on actions in the 15 states which not ratified the ERA. they are updated daily. Please become members and join in the specific actions (pone calls, email).
